Waitress Marsha

WAITRESS MARSHA

Waitress Marsha Marsha
Do you understand
What you really mean to me
What you really do to me

I was on the road and hungry at half past en
No other choice than to eat in a restaurant again
Before I knew one lovely lady asked to me
What would you like a chickensoup or a cup of tea

Give me a steak, fried eggs, vegetarian food,
A shrimp cocktail or even toast
It doesn’t matter as long as
It will be served with lots of your love

Waitress Marsha Marsha
Do you understand
What you really mean to me
What you really do to me

After an hour looking in the menu and at your smile
I chose the Sole Belle Meunière
I was sure that took a while
I ask you for a juice with fish between my teeth
But then I changed my mind can I have a coke please

Give me a steak, fried eggs, vegetarian food,
A shrimp cocktail or even toast
It doesn’t matter as long as
It will be served with lots of your love

Waitress Marsha Marsha
Do you understand
What you really mean to me
What you really do to me

Your voice rang out like a X-mas Carol in the night
Whispering do you want the bill
I was still dreaming of a wedding chapel
And I shouted: yes I will, yes I will !

Waitress Marsha Marsha
Do you understand
What you really mean to me
What you really do to me
